A mother and her daughter play on the beach as the waves kiss the sand under the clear sky.

I used a C-PL filter in the picture. It was taken at a beach in Chanthaburi, a province in the eastern Thailand. Chanthaburi is just three hours drive from Bangkok.

This picture was taken at a sunflower field in Saraburi province which is just a bit over an hour drive from Bangkok. There’s this little road connecting Saraburi province with Lopburi province which I feel every photographer should visit if they are in or anywhere near these provinces.

Everywhere you look, there will be either sunflower fields or vineyards with some odd farm here and there. There are also about four detours you can take to picturesque waterfalls in the area.

This was taken at a farm next to a vineyard in the north eastern part of Thailand.  I was on a photo-trip with a few of my friends… we didn’t get to a lot of different places, but we had a good amount of time to shoot at each place we visited. I hope we can arrange quite a few good photo trips in the year ahead…

This photo of the little fishing village south Hua Hin was taken from a little hill close by.  It was actually pretty dark (according to EXIF data, it was 6:47 pm); I used a tripod and long exposure. I used the longer end of my Tammy,  so it is a bit soft.

This picture of Hua Hin was taken from a hill top shrine called Wat Khao Takiab. It was almost 7 p.m.  when we reached there, giving us a precious 20 minutes or so to capture some shots.

Amphawa floating market is located less than two hours drive from Bangkok. It is a popular weekend market for many of the locals but isn’t well known among tourists.
