This photo was taken at Watson Lake, Prescott, Arizona back in May 2011. Prescott, at more than 5300 feet above sea level, is a quiet little town with a great (and somewhat cold) weather.

This picture has an added significance for me. When we, my uncle George and I, got to this place it was about 9 degrees but it started to rain just a few minutes after we got there. It was quite windy and the temperatures dropped quickly. Instead of heading back, we stayed and waited out. After the rain, we got the blue skies and some sun light for the above picture.

The above picture was taken at 5:43 pm.  Just an hour or so before that, it looked like the picture below. The picture below was taken at 4:36 pm.

I took this from somewhere near the top of Doi Inthanon – the highest mountain in Thailand.

I haven’t updated this photo blog for quite a while, and I do have a really good reason for it – I haven’t been shooting any outdoor photos.

Okay, it’s not a good excuse. But, hey.. I’m back.

A mother and her daughter play on the beach as the waves kiss the sand under the clear sky.

I used a C-PL filter in the picture. It was taken at a beach in Chanthaburi, a province in the eastern Thailand. Chanthaburi is just three hours drive from Bangkok.

This picture was taken at a sunflower field in Saraburi province which is just a bit over an hour drive from Bangkok. There’s this little road connecting Saraburi province with Lopburi province which I feel every photographer should visit if they are in or anywhere near these provinces.

Everywhere you look, there will be either sunflower fields or vineyards with some odd farm here and there. There are also about four detours you can take to picturesque waterfalls in the area.

This was taken at a farm next to a vineyard in the north eastern part of Thailand.  I was on a photo-trip with a few of my friends… we didn’t get to a lot of different places, but we had a good amount of time to shoot at each place we visited. I hope we can arrange quite a few good photo trips in the year ahead…
