The Bogenvillas in my garden

The Bogenvillas in my garden

These thorny vines blossom with little water and a lot of sun light. They are strong, beautiful and very low maintenance – just the way I like them.

This picture was taken with EF 35mm F/2 prime lens with aperture F/2, exposure 1/1250 sec at ISO 100.

A common flower, but your image makes it very special. You have used DOF exquisitely to create this image.

Literally took my breath away when this image popped on my screen. Beautiful in every respect, especially love the selective focus and composition.
